About The Builder
Ron Nance has been an integral part of the Lawton business community since the 1980s. Beginning work in the commercial side of Real Estate, Nance earned the prestigious CCIM designation and began investing and developing real estate in Lawton. Nance’s Home Construction business has blossomed into Lawton’s largest. Nance is a “Certified Professional Builder” and a “Certified Aging in Place Specialist”. Nance has maintained the highest standards for quality in both construction and customer service. Nance takes pride in developing neighborhoods where his customers feel right at home. In February 2007, Nance was honored to accept an invitation from ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition to build a home for the Gene Westbrook family. Nance has enough land serviced by city infrastructure to develop and build 1,500 new homes in Lawton in The Oaks Development.
Ron Nance’s Commitment to the Community
Nance has assumed many leadership roles both locally and statewide. Nance served as 2022 / 2023 President of the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association and is currently serving as Immediate Past President. Nance has played an integral role in furthering economic development in Lawton by serving as Chairman of the Lawton Economic Development Corporation. Nance has served in many organizations including past positions as a Lawton City Councilman, President of the Lawton Home Builders Association, Oklahoma Bison Association President, and Director of the National Bison Association. Nance has served on numerous other boards including Southwestern Medical Center, Lawton Airport Authority, First National Bank, and Lawton Board of Realtors.
Ron Nance owns and operates a number of different businesses outside of real estate as well including a buffalo ranch that has had as many as 1,500 buffalo running on 5,500 acres of prime Oklahoma ranch land. Today, Nance contributes to the Buffalo industry with the breeding of very rare and high-quality Black Bison. These majestic animals can be seen roaming the land owned by Nance surrounding The Oaks Development. Nance also owns and operates a number of commercial buildings in Lawton used for both high-end office space and retail.
